East side Bunk House at Chama 1995
The Bunk House is where the crews slept. This building stills stands at
Chama today and is basically the same as it was over a hundred years ago.
Exterior walls are made of log timbers that are approximately 10 inches
high by 6 inches wide. The timbers have about a two inch gap with chinking
filling the gap.
